Talk Twenties announce new headline sponsor Zopa Bank

Talk Twenties has today announced that it will be partnering with Zopa Bank who will become the headline sponsor for the Talk Twenties Podcast and support the Finance and Money pillar of the Talk Twenties Platform.

Talk Twenties is a leading podcast and digital business that aims to bridge the gap between full-time education and adult life. Talk Twenties was the brainchild of former school teacher Gaby Mendes, who has built a 30,000-strong community of twenty-somethings that regularly tune in, interact and get involved in the platform.

Launched 2 years ago, Zopa Bank aims to be the UK’s best bank for saving and borrowing. It does this by providing products which are simple, fair and great value. These include Smart Saver, a hybrid savings offering with an easy access account and up to 20 Pots where customers can boost funds to get a better interest rate. Zopa also has a Credit Card with no international transaction fees and Borrowing Power, a tool which advises on steps users can take to improve their credit scores. Zopa users rate its service as ‘excellent’ with 4.5 out of 5 on TrustPilot. It has been voted the UK’s Best Personal Loan Provider at the British Bank Awards and it has a NPS (net promoter score) score of 83, a key indicator of customer satisfaction.

As part of this announcement, Talk Twenties also welcomes Felix Kabutey Jnr as the new co-host of the Talk Twenties Podcast who will interview, alongside Gaby, some of the most well-known and influential young people in the UK.

Gaby Mendes, Founder and Director of Talk Twenties, said:

This is such an exciting time for the Talk Twenties brand to be sponsored by Zopa Bank. We wanted to work with an organisation who really believed and supported our mission for helping twenty-somethings learn about all the stuff you weren’t taught in school and, as one of the UK’s leading digital banks, Zopa are the perfect fit.

Charlotte Wilkinson, Brand and Experience Director at Zopa Bank, commented:

“Zopa is excited to be partnering with Talk Twenties to offer young people access to resources that help them navigate their twenties with more confidence and greater ease. We believe listeners will benefit from insightful discussions that break down the stigma around financial issues and empower young people to talk about some of their key concerns at the intersection of personal finance, well-being, empowerment and self-determination. This aligns to Zopa’s ethos of offering products that are simple, fair and great value in order for consumers to achieve better financial outcomes.
